Tornai Somlói Selection Apátsági Furmint 2021

It is a crystal-clear pale gold colour with straw-yellow reflections. High viscosity and an intense, ripe character. The nose displays notes of dried flowers, yellow apple and herbs. The palate shows a nice balance between the high acidity and barrel-derived sweet tone. The long finish reveals notes of apricot and pear. This is a wine with great ageing potential and is a fine example of a great Furmint. Its main virtue is that it can be a rich wine, with harmony and elegance already built in. It is worth keeping for years as it has a long ageing period.
